We took a little break from blog posts on Chevy’s #TheNew advertising campaign, but this week we bring you our second to last focus model: 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. The 2014 Traverse is focused on family, especially being versatile enough for all kinds of different families and how the Traverse is built to keep them safe.

The “New Family Room” is the name given to the 2014 Traverse because, as stated before, there is an emphasis on this model being branded a family car. As Chevrolet puts it, the “Traverse is a mid-size SUV that brings you all of the amenities you could want in a vehicle, and some you wouldn’t expect.”

Some of these available amenities include a flip down Panasonic screen and DVD player with an added option of a head restraint DVD system. Also, Chevy MyLink featuring the ability to stream Pandora, the ability to connect your devices via USB ports or Bluetooth, as well as GPS options. The 2014 Traverse is also available with a wireless network interface to turn it into a mobile hotspot.

In Chevy’s commercial featuring the Traverse, they also emphasize the SUV’s 5-star safety rating and accolades from J.D. Power. Check it out on Chevy’s YouTube page.
