If some is good, then more is better. That is the motto when it comes to Chevrolet vehicles being featured in director Michael Bay’s big screen adaptations of Hasbro’s Transformers. The latest movie is titled “Transformers: Age of Extinction” and will feature some recognizable vehicles from the Chevrolet lineup.
Most notably the bright yellow Camaro, better known as Bumblebee, will return for the fourth installment of the film franchise. This time he will take two different forms, as a heavily modified 1967 Camaro SS and a futuristic concept Camaro.
“The Transformers movies have been a great partnership for Chevrolet by allowing us to introduce our vehicles to new fans, young and old, around the world,” said Tim Mahoney, chief marketing officer, Global Chevrolet in a Chevy press release. “Now for the fourth time, you’ll see a Camaro as a heroic Autobot, a fitting role for one of the stars of Chevrolet’s lineup.”
Other Chevy cars turned Autobot will include the all-new 2015 Chevrolet Trax – a blend between the agile handling and fuel efficiency of a compact car and a the cargo room of a SUV – and the 2014 Chevy Sonic – Chevy’s entry into the ever-popular small car lineup.
While we can’t promise you your next Chevy car from Suski Automotive will help save the world by transforming into a giant robot, what we can promise is that we will give you a great inventory and low prices on cars that look like they could.
