Christmas has come early for Camaro enthusiasts everywhere. Chevrolet recently announced that, as a way to celebrate National Name Your Car Day, Camaro owners and fans across the country now have the opportunity to name the Camaro Special Edition. The special version of the 2015 muscle car, which will debut at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, is set to arrive on dealer lots in the first quarter of 2015.
“Chevrolet has made a tradition of offering special-edition models each spring, but this is the first time we’ve turned to the community of Camaro fans to name it,” said Todd Christensen, Camaro marketing manager. “We can’t think of a better way to involve the owners and enthusiasts who have made it the segment’s best-selling sports car for four years running.”
This Camaro Special Edition will be available as both a convertible and coupe, while also offering the RS Appearance Package, Cyber Gray rally stripes, and a black interior with Graphite Silver door panels. With an exclusive Emerald Green Metallic exterior color and other unique exterior features, the unique Camaro SS is the type of car that deserves the most fitting name possible.
