Nothing says the holidays quite like Christkindlmarkt in Frankenmuth. This holiday market offers visitors food, fun, and shopping in a heated outdoor tent over the course of two weekends—November 25th to November 27th and December 2nd to December 4th. Local artists and growers come together to sell their wares, focusing on offering made-to-order, homemade, and local artisanal goods. It’s easy to get started on holiday shopping with this great event.
Get into the holiday spirit by trimming a tree in the Historical Society of Bridgeport’s Trim-A-Tree Contest. This contests, which will occur during Pioneer Christmas on Friday, December 9th from 7pm to 9pm, is free to enter—and free to participants of all ages. Just pick up an entry form at the Main Museum in the Bridgeport Historical Village and you’re set to trim a tree in the contest.
