The new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe is finally rolling onto dealership lots. The Tahoe, along with other General Motors models, experienced a delay with production shutdown resulting from COVID-19. But now you can find this updated SUV at Suski Chevrolet Buick in Birch Run, Michigan.
Models are planned to come in waves, with the High Country and Z71 as the first trims available. These well-equipped top-tier levels are currently available. Other trims will become available as the rest of the year progresses. Models with the 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine will be available later in 2020.
The new Tahoe is not the only delayed vehicle. The Chevy Suburban, Cadillac Escalade, and GMC Yukon XL, made in the same assembly plant as the Tahoe, have only recently gone into production.
Things you can expect on the 2021 Tahoe are improved space and technology. The SUV has 28 more cubic feet of total cargo space, along with 10 inches of extra third-row legroom for better comfort. The infotainment system display spans a massive 10 inches and every model boasts LED lighting. It even has a smoother ride thanks to better suspension and the available Air Ride Adaptive Suspension which allows you to raise or lower the height depending on road conditions.
