The all-electric 2024 Chevy Silverado is set to go on sale in 2023 — just one year from now! Here’s what you should know about this exciting model as we eagerly await its arrival here at Suski Chevrolet Buick in Birch Run, Michigan.
Eco-Friendly Power Meets Impressive Capability
The all-electric 2024 Silverado builds on the potency and capability of the gas-powered Silverado while delivering zero emissions. It will come in two versions, the RST First Edition and the Work Truck. Each one has a manufacturer-estimated range of 400 miles on a single charge.
The RST configuration is estimated to generate 664 horsepower when you select the available max power Wide Open Watts Mode. The RST also comes with Automatic Adaptive Air Suspension for a superbly smooth ride quality and four-wheel steering for tighter turns and greater agility.
The fleet-ready WT configuration gets 510 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. It also has a 1,200-pound payload and 8,000 max towing rating. The RST has 2,000 pounds more towing power and can carry 100 pounds more cargo in the truck bed.
More Things To Love About the All-Electric 2024 Silverado
General Motors will offer this truck with trailering-capable Super Cruise technology so you can enjoy the convenience of a hands-free semi-autonomous driving mode. The all-electric Silverado has a Multi-Flex Midgate so you can fold down the wall between the bed and cab when you need a bit more room to stow your gear. And the available Multi-Flex Tailgate offers the expanded truck bed and tailgate functions that fans have come to appreciate on the current model year of the Silverado.
The cabin incorporates modern touches to enhance user experience. A 17-inch diagonal LCD freeform touch screen is easy to read and use. A multi-color Head-Up Display delivers a field of view over 14 inches so you can be informed behind the wheel and keep your eyes safely on the road ahead.
