A new week means a new opportunity to delve deeper into Chevy’s #TheNew advertising campaign. This week it is all about the “New Mobile Device,” the 2014 Malibu.
With this portion of “The New” campaign, Chevy is challenging the idea of a mobile device. People are becoming increasingly attached to their cell phones and mobile devices, but Chevy actually wants you to experience the thrill of driving somewhere in the 2014 Malibu, not be too concerned with what’s on your phone. This notion is clearly displayed in their commercial.
As you could see in the commercial, one of the main selling points of the 2014 Malibu is the all-new Ecotec® 2.0L turbocharged engine with 259 hp. Its four cylinders give it 295 lb.-ft torque and offers an EPA estimated 30 mpg.
