The New 2015 Chevrolet Colorado Built Out of Sand

Going to the beach as a child, what was the one thing you looked forward to the most? The answer would typically be building a sand castle or just playing in the sand. Well, what would you do if you saw someone built a truck out of sand? If you go to San Diego, CA you just might see one.

After five days and 75,000 pounds of sand, a smaller scale version of the 2015 Chevy Colorado was built over Labor Day weekend. The Colorado sand sculpture is on display at the U.S. Sand Sculpting Championships in San Diego, CA.

According to Tony Johnson, Colorado Marketing Manager this is a great marketing idea. “It’s a great fit for the Colorado to be partnered with the U.S. Sand Sculpting Championships. With Southern California being the largest mid-size truck market in the country, the Colorado is right at home here in San Diego.”

The all new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado is a mid-size pickup truck with superior technology that keeps you entertained while being connected inside your vehicle. The Colorado comes equipped with such features as Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, and much more. The Colorado also has an impressive EPA-Estimated 26mpg highway fuel economy and powerful 305 hp. This truck has the feel of a sedan while riding in the cabin, but we assure you it’s all truck.

We here at Suski Chevrolet Buick are very excited for the new mid-size pickup truck to come to our showroom. In the mean time, stop in today or visit us online to browse our current in stock models.
