Chevrolet is bringing the pain to competitors in the truck market like the Toyota Tacoma. With the return of the Chevrolet Colorado, the automaker is throwing in special editions as well. Most recently, the Chevrolet Trail Boss edition hit dealer lots.
The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 Trail Boss Edition (whew!) includes an all-terrain suspension package. The midsize pickup is available in two cabin configurations, each with a different cargo area length and four wheel drive.
The bundle includes a Z71 off-road truck suspension package, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac all-terrain tires, and 17 inch dark argent metallic aluminum wheels. Features include a G80 automatic lock, protected transfer box (four wheel drive models only), and antifog headlights. Cosmetic changes include black Chevrolet bowties and black fender flares.
“This truck offers one-stop shopping for people who want to customize their truck,” Chevrolet spokesman Otie McKinley said. With a simple check of a box on an order form, it couldn’t be any easier! The other special edition version is the GearOn edition.
All hail the return of the Chevrolet Colorado, the midsize pickup that can meet everyone’s needs, both on and off-road.
