With seven generations and 64 years’ worth of models to choose from, there are a lot of excellent Corvettes, but here are what we think are the top 10 Corvettes.

  1. 1963 Corvette Coupe. This Vette oozed sophistication and beauty with its unique design and made 360 horsepower from its V8.
  2. 1990 Corvette ZR-1. Incorporated advanced technology to elevate the Corvette into the supercar realm.
  3. 2009 Corvette ZR1. This was the fastest production Corvette ever built.
  4. 1997 C5 Corvette. This V8-powered Vette was comfortable enough for every day, yet still delivered impressive performance.
  5. 1969 C3 Corvette ZL1. It could be optioned with a massive 7.0-liter V8 that blasted out at least 430 horsepower.
  6. 1984 Corvette. After a decade of lagging sales and performance, this model brought the Corvette back to its glory.
  7. 1957 Corvette. This was the first high-performance Corvette with a fuel-injected 283-horsepower V8.
  8. 1953 Corvette. The first iteration of the Corvette definitely wasn’t the best, but it was enough to spark a love affair that has lasted over 60 years.
