We saw a big new reveal from Chevy at the NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) this week, where they debuted the new 2018 Traverse. As expected the mid-size SUV has a bold new design and the most legroom in the third row in its class, and it maintains its title of best-in-class max cargo space.
Chevy has added a slew of new technologies to the Traverse as well as making it more lightweight for improved fuel economy. The silhouette of the new Traverse is similar to the redesigned Chevy Equinox that was revealed in fall of last year, suggesting a new direction for Chevy in terms of SUV styling. Like the Traverse, the Equinox lost weight and added interior space.
Chevy is dedicated to offering a wide range of crossovers and SUVs to fit any driver’s needs, from the different sizes offered in the subcompact Trax all the way up to the huge Suburban. Whether you’re looking for fuel efficiency, electric power, V8 performance, or just a ton of space, there’s a Chevy for you.
GM also revealed the 2018 GMC Acadia at the NAIAS, which shares a platform with the Chevy Equinox. We’re excited to see what else will come out of the Chevy lineup in the coming months.
